Well, it's been more than three years since the last "Audio/Visual," and frankly, I can't think of a better way to come back! Awww, middle school humor...how I've grown to love you.
Okay, so I got a Japanese bootleg of "Song of the South" recently, and this is what I found superimposed in the final scene. This was obviously not on the actual film.
Okay, so Uncle Remus and the kids walk off into the sunset...not so bad...
They then fade off into the background.
And as the music creshendooOH MY GOD!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!?
And then it's gone...
What the fuck was that all about? And who the fuck put it there?!?
So, I've been wanting to do the following strip for a while now. My internet (and mine alone) crashed at work, so it seemed like a nice opportunity to make it.
To Mike, sorry. I know you wanted to call this strip "Ray's World," but while funny in the insult department, I think it makes for a shitty title.
Seriously, though, I'm just gonna wait for the complete boxset.
If you're here, then you probably got the MySpace or Facebook message. And, like the message implied, the following is NOT an AUDIO/VISUAL strip:
CHECK MINUS is actually a strip I worked on in college, but had to bail on when the school paper would start censoring or dropping it completely. So, I thought I'd try it out again regarding the serious issue mentioned above. For more evidence of this evil, check out the video below:
I hope these chicks die a horrible, horrible death...the kind you hear about in all the papers.
Well, that was a long hiatus. Somewhere in that (what should have been) two-week break I forgot how fun and therapeutic the whole process is. Anyway, there you go.
Also, I'd like to remind anyone who hasn't yet that Audio Visual now has its own MySpace page. Feel free to join if you haven't already. Just go here to become MySpace friends. Just make sure you leave a message that I can't possibly mistake for spam.
