Seems to me the biggest complaint about the Halloween re-make is the fact that they try to give Michael Myers a backstory. That said, I wholeheartedly agree that Michael Myers is a hell of a lot scarier if you don't understand why he's a homicidal asshat.
Ray, that cartoon is hysterical. You are very talented, not that you need to be told that, I'm sure. All of your cartoons are clever and well drawn, and even though they have a common irony to them, they give it enough of a twist to be fresh.
